Skin Cure Natural Cosmetics Group, Founded in 2004 Launch of products for skin diseases Utilizing natural raw materials such as camellia and oranges

The first manufacturer to utilize Jeju camellia, popular with consumers ... Product / brand extension Research on native plants in Jeju is also active

"Jeju camellia" becomes a main topic the cosmetics industry. This is because camellia has an excellent moisturizing effect, is superior to anti-aging, and also has a whitening function, and companies are releasing cosmetics using camellia as the main ingredient one after another. Consumers are also fascinated by these camellias and continue to look for products, and the potential for growth in the market is very high.

SkinCure (representative Gimmyung-ok) was the first cosmetics manufacturer to make products using natural camellia ingredients from Jeju.

Jeju-born Kim Myung-ok, who founded SkinCure in 2004, decided to launch a product based on the natural ingredients of these reports, which suffer from eczema and skin diseases. At the time of its founding, Kim decided to utilize the raw materials provided by the nature of Jeju, such as camellia, citrus fruits, tangerine, hizikia fusiforme, barley, and pea from Jeju, because his hometown is Jeju.

It has been a year since the company was founded, and he has released "sandawha" made from the representative brand Jeju camellia for the current skin cure. This product is obtained from camellia extract and camellia squeezed oil and used as the main ingredients in cosmetics. Sales of "Sandawha", which is rumored to be able to be written safely by people who are sensitive to camellia cosmetics born and raised in Jeju, continued to increase. Riding on this wind, we supplied more than 150 kinds of natural cosmetics in OEM format to representative organic brands such as Hansallim, Green Village, and Dure Co-op, and launched a brand called Jeju Pure Island, and 5 unique brand cosmetics to the market.

In July last year, the Skin Cure Jeju Production Center of Jeju Advanced Science and Technology Complex was established to further enhance the brand value of Jeju Pure Island and to supply and supply the main raw materials appropriately. Currently, SkinCure has its headquarters and life science research institute in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, Osan production center and research institute in Osan-si, Gyeonggi-do, and production center and research institute in Jeju.

Recently, the number of companies using camellia has increased, and the supply and demand of camellia has become difficult. People buy the Jeju Camellia Material Farm, plant camellia directly, grow it, and receive the raw materials for the raw materials at this place.

"We purchase a site of about 16,500 m2 (5,000 tsubo) and plant about 5,000 camellias and harvest them directly," said Kim Sung-Ah, director of the Jeju Production Center. "Products with reliable natural ingredients Consumers are highly satisfied because they produce and supply. "

In addition, SkinCure specializes in raw materials through research on more than 8,000 flora that grow naturally on Jeju Island to make appropriate cosmetics. Recently, he has collaborated with Biospectrum in the Advanced Science and Technology Complex. This company is mainly engaged in the research and primary processing of Jeju-produced materials such as extraction, concentration and pulverization. SkinCure is expected to collaborate here to further expand its Jeju natural cosmetics product line.

SkinCure currently exports products to Southeast Asia, the United States (exclusive contract), Canada and the Middle East, with an export volume of around $ 1 million. Domestic distribution and sales volume is about 10 billion won per year.

“We plan to develop cosmetics made from specialized materials only in Jeju, including camellia, and expand exports to the global market,” said Kim Myung-ok.
